The two-mirror receiving and transmitting antenna system is constructed according to the Cassegrain system, it includes an antenna with a 7.2 m reflector with an irradiating system and a counter-reflector, and a slewing ring with electromechanical drives.
The structure does not include radio receivers and radio transmitting devices.
