Attenuator (ATT) is designed to control the amplitude of the input signals of the L-band. The MMIC is developed on the basis of silicon-germanium BiKMOS technology.
MMIC ATT is a parallel-serial chain of resistive blocks, switched using MOS keys. An amplifier has been added to the circuit to obtain a positive transfer coefficient.
The switching of the ATT states is carried out by a control circuit included in the MMIC, in parallel with a 6-bit code MMIC ATT is intended for L-band radio equipment, including:
- satellite communications and navigation,
- radar equipment.
