SiGe (Silicon-germanium) BiKMOS microwave MMIC mixer implements the Gilbert active mixer circuit.
The features of the circuit are:
- the mixer can be included in both receiving and transmitting paths;
- the output of the circuit is implemented as an open collector, so the output can be of different types - unipolar or differential;
- input mixer can work with any type of signal;
- implemented the ability to switch the mixer to sleep mode.
The microcircuits are designed to operate as a mixer of the receiving and transmitting paths in the frequency range up to 2 GHz, with a possible extension of the band to 4 GHz.
